Configuring character validation

Portfolio administrators can enable or disable the character validation security for form fields. With the character validation enabled, administrators are prevented from using parentheses "()" or angle brackets "<>" within protected fields of the Admin console. As those characters may be deemed necessary for SEO purposes or to accommodate the naming of some search sources, this configuration allows administrators to disable the setting.
